Kapiri Full Primary School (50 km north-east of Mchinji District Headquarters)

MAJOR ACTIVITIES

1. Identification of beneficiaries based on students´ household poverty levels and academic performance
2. Dissemination of potential beneficiaries´ information through a website, catalogues, etc.
3. Linking interested sponsors and the beneficiaries
4. Training beneficiary students´ households on HIV/AIDS and the rights of the child
5. Linking the beneficiary households with organizations that provide services which are aimed at enhancing agricultural production in areas where such services exist
6. Provision of refresher courses to teachers working in schools the Network has beneficiary students
7. Training of beneficiary households in business management and the provision of start-up capital at a subsidized interest rate to the same
